I turn napkin sketches into campaigns.
Concept, script, set, repeat. Just keep the caffeine coming.

- 2025 HPRA ¡BRAVO! National Awards: Ozama Rum, Sports Campaign & New Product Launch Campaign

- Music (as Zairah): "Peluca" with Dillon Francis, over 2 million plays; "Rulay," released on Hugel's label Make The Girls Dance Records, over 1 million plays on Spotify and #7 on Apple Music Dance Risers; charted on the iTunes UK, Japan, and Australia Latino charts at #18, #17, and #6; ranked in Chartmetric's top 20,000 artists in the world
I got my start in journalism through the Television Academy of Arts & Sciences' Emmy program, writing and contributing to newsrooms in LA including ABC News and BBC, which is where I learned to write. From there I moved into music as the artist Zairah, which led to a work-for-hire gig with Wieden+Kennedy writing and performing vocals for a campaign. That relationship led to my acceptance into W+K's creative incubator in 2022, where I pitched a VR world I built myself, a Spanish-language affirmations meditation experience, and concepted ideas for brands including Corona (Mexico) and HP, who selected one of my briefs. Not every concept from that period stayed a sketch: QuienSeañera started the same way and went on to get backing from Nike. I also developed a concept pairing sustainable clothing brand Meals with a local farm's produce and materials, designing a full line (egg suit, lettuce suit, egg overalls) inspired by the farm's own offerings; the sketches and brief were fully developed, though the collaboration didn't end up shipping.
From there I moved into writing, concepting, and creative direction: scripts, briefs, and full campaign creative for spirits, hospitality, and cultural clients. On Ozama Rum I ran production creative solo, concept through set to delivery.
There's a pattern in here if you squint: I keep showing up right at the beginning of things. I was the first person hired into the Social Department Coordinator role at Bodega, when the team was under 10 people (it's since scaled to around 48). My incubator cohort at W+K was the first one they'd run in years. Ozama Rum and Ferocia Prosecco were both brand-new when I started on them. Turns out I hit the ground running.
First point of contact for creative teams across our biggest accounts, handling scheduling, budgets, travel (including overseas emergencies), and calendars for five executives at once, plus department events and team offsites.
This was Bodega's highest-growth window: the studio scaled from under 10 people to around 48 during my time there, and the department was recognized industry-wide during this period, including a D&AD Yellow Pencil and Global Grand Effie for agency campaigns, a feature in Campaign US's 2023 Performance Review as an "innovation success story," and praise in Adweek's Creative 100 for the Lil Yachty campaign.
QuienSeañera
Concept
| Started as | A personal project, later greenlit by W+K as a work-for-hire investment ($25,000+) |
|---|---|
| My scope | Concept, creative direction, full production (including stage setup for the shoot), and casting/hiring of everyone on set |
| Outside hire | Fuchsia Lin, fabricator — physically constructed the garment from my concept |
| Brand tie-in | Nike approved use of the sneakers in the collab |
| Concept | The first non-conforming "quinceañera" attire — inspired by bullfighters in my family, the look defies gender bias, colorism, sexism, transphobia, and homophobia, freeing the quinceañera tradition from conventional gender and beauty standards. Anyone can be a QuienSeañera. |
